The 2015 Executive Training Institute planning committee is pleased to announce three Keynote speakers:
Monday, April 20, 9:30am -- Tina Lewis Rowe, who served with the US Marshall service during the Oklahoma City bombing and is a retired Denver Police Department captain, will present the essential elements of law enforcement supervisory excellence.
In addition to her Monday presentation, Tina will conduct an Advance Skills/Executive Seminar Sunday, April 19 at 6:00pm.
Tuesday, April 21, 8:00am training focuses on medical marijuana legalization and the changes Minnesota law enforcement should expect.
Kevin Sabet will present his Seven Myths of Marijuana. He and Bill Kirchhoff will explain what LE should be doing now to prepare for the implementation of the law. The address also covers personnel issues CLEOs will have to deal with in the event members of their staffs are prescribed medical marijuana. Whether you are a small or big department this is one of the most important issues facing Minnesota law enforcement.
In the coming weeks, MCPA will be announcing more speakers and breakout sessions covering everything from body cameras, social media, and technology to medical marijuana and data practices.
