About the MN Chiefs of Police Association

The Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association is a nonprofit, professional membership organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of police leadership in Minnesota.

 

The association was founded in 1954 as a training and social organization to network and exchange ideas between law enforcement executives. MN Chiefs now is recognized as a professional association offering executive leadership training, and is the voice for police executives statewide.

 

Board Members are elected by members at the annual Executive Training Institute.  Board Members meet monthly to discuss matters that affect association members, as well as the safety of their communities.   


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PATROL (Police Accredited TRaining OnLine) is a web-based training program on current Minnesota legal and law enforcement issues. Each month, a new, 60-minute course will be available. 12 POST credits per year. See topics.
