Executive Director Report

The SRO Bill has now passed through all the Committee hearings. We are hoping the Senate will take up the Bill on the Senate floor on Monday, March 11. MCPA has worked diligently with Majority and Minority leaders in the Senate to ensure we have the votes to pass this Bill on Monday. If this happens it will go to the Governor for his signature as early as Tuesday. I encourage you all to reach out to your local Senators and ask them to vote yes on Monday.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved with this process along the way. Many hours, meetings, and testimonies have gone into our work with the SRO bill.

As a reminder, Cozen O'Connor will assemble weekly updates for MCPA to share with our membership each week during the legislative session. You can view the most recent update online.

Thank you,

Jeff Potts, Executive Director
