Thank you for registering to attend the 2027 CLEO & Command Academy. Below is important information for you for the week.

Additional Information

Room Accommodations

Lodging is provided at Camp Ripley for attendees whose registration includes accommodations.

When available, attendees will be assigned a private room with a private bathroom in the Education Center Suites. If priority groups are on site, including military personnel, some attendees may be placed in alternate housing and may need to share restroom facilities.

Linens, including sheets and towels, are provided.

Most rooms include an alarm clock, refrigerator, and coffee pot.

Lodging Check-in

Check-in begins at 1500 hours (3:00 PM) daily at the Education Center information desk.

Early check-in may be available if rooms are ready. Otherwise, attendees may check in during a break or after the day’s session, prior to dinner.

Unless commuting, lodging is provided Monday evening through Friday morning.

Lodging Check-Out

Check-out is no later than 1000 hours (10:00 AM) and is completed at the Education Center information desk.

Attire for the week is business casual. Uniforms are not necessary.

This course is approved for Minnesota POST Board continuing education credits. Final credit amounts will be determined once the full schedule is confirmed.

Participants are invited to socialize at the Camp Ripley Viking Club (Building 8-195) at the end of each day.

MCPA-hosted dinners will be held at the Viking Club on select evenings, as noted in the training schedule. All participants are encouraged to attend.

All meals during the training, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are included with registration. Coffee and light snacks will be available throughout the day.

Meals are served in the Education Center Cafeteria (Building 6-76). A sign-in sheet for MCPA attendees will be located at the beginning of the meal line. Lunch and MCPA-hosted dinners are noted in the training schedule.

Cafeteria Hours

  • Breakfast: 0600 to 0800
  • Lunch: 1130 to 1300
  • Dinner: 1630 to 1830

The cafeteria typically includes a salad bar and hot menu options.

Food Allergens and Dietary Restrictions

Food may contain or come in contact with common allergens, including wheat or gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. Menu items vary daily, and the cafeteria cannot accommodate specific dietary restrictions.

Payment

Payment is due prior to the start of training.

Cancellation Policy

When registrations are canceled for MCPA training events, the following refund policy applies:

  • More than one month prior to the start of the event: Full refund, less a cancellation fee of $75 or 25%, whichever is less
  • Two weeks to one month prior to the start of the event: 50% refund
  • Less than two weeks prior to the start of the event: No refund

Refunds will be issued by check.

Substitutions

Agencies may substitute a different attendee at no additional cost. Please notify MCPA before the start of training so POST credit can be properly assigned.
