Thank you for registering to attend the New Chiefs & Command Academy. Below is important information for you for the week.

Parking: . Ample street parking and Public Safety building parking lots are available.
Please do not park in the City Hall/License Bureau lot across the street.

Room Accommodations
Attendees whose workplace is more than 50 miles from New Brighton are eligible for lodging Tuesday through Friday.
Attire for the week is business casual. Uniforms are not necessary.
Your registration includes lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as an MCPA-sponsored dinner. Light snacks and coffee will also be available throughout the week.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment
Payment is due prior to the start of training.
Cancellation Policy
When registrations are canceled for MCPA training events, the following refund policy applies:
- More than one month prior to the start of the event: Full refund, less a cancellation fee of $75 or 25%, whichever is less
- Two weeks to one month prior to the start of the event: 50% refund
- Less than two weeks prior to the start of the event: No refund
Refunds will be issued by check.
Substitutions
Agencies may substitute a different attendee at no additional cost. Please notify MCPA before the start of training so POST credit can be properly assigned.
