Executive Director Report

About 150 Minnesota chiefs and command staff members attended the IACP conference in Orlando this past week. It was great to see so many of them at the MCPA networking event we hosted last Sunday. The event was sponsored by Peregrine, and we thank them for their support.

If you attended the conference and saw any exceptional presentations, please email me the names of the presenters and their topics. We will share your recommendations with the MCPA Conference Committee for consideration at ETI or the 2027 Fall Conference.

If you plan to attend next year’s IACP conference in Philadelphia, I encourage you to reserve your hotel room as soon as possible. The room block may fill quickly, but check back periodically, as rooms often become available.

Click here to reserve your room. More details are available below in the "IACP 2027 Hotel Reservations" article.

Thank you, and have a safe Halloween weekend.
